School, survives with one blackboard

This is an awesome lady named Veronique. she is a retired school teacher but was sad when a large group of children living near her did not attend school so she added on a room and started to teach them.

They sang us a few songs and were very polite.

Many of the children have never attended school because there parents do not see its value.

Our new goal.....HELP THIS SCHOOL!!!

P-Day Senior Outing

Waiting to get picked up for our sailing, snorkeling, beach adventure!!
This is the ship we were going to go sailing on but never saw a sail all day, just ran on the motor.

First stop was a place where they are trying to save an endangered turtle, these babies were less than a week old.

It is probably hard to see the butterflies on this tree but there were several on the Island that were just covered. You could see the trees in the distance and they looked like they were growing or moving but it was just all the butterflies swarming around.

Our private beach where we had lunch, swam and snorkeled.
Our lunch hut, not the most comfortable seat.

The view from the hut was spectacular and the water was warm and crystal clear.
